My Personal Experience As a Student

During my time at INTI International university, I studied a diploma in business course since 2017. I want to share my experience with everyone because I have spent more than two years more than most of my friends.

This is because my English is poor and I needed to quickly improve my English to catch up with my classmates. Therefore, most of the time is spent in our classes, each class is 2 hours long, from 9 am to 5 pm, and sometimes the classes last until 6 pm, which makes me tired. Therefore, if the class ends early, I will have enough time to rest and chat with my friends.

this is map showing is distance walking to the campus.

Other than that, most of my friends started as early as 8 am and there were times I was running late, well you can’t imagine arriving there at 8 am when from the hostel to the university campus is an 8-minute walk and you would have to wake up at 7.30 am, right? Ha-ha. Coincidentally, INTI’s classrooms are quite far away from the restaurants and shops and we were too lazy to wait for the bus or take a cab. Hence, I have decided to drive my car to campus.

this is map showing the distance driving car to the campus .

When my friends and I were too lazy to walk, we went to class by car and I knew that someone would say that we were lazy bones, but this would save time and we would be able to attend class on time without being scolded by the lecturer.

Facilities

Accomodation

However, I live in Gandhi (G) block single room on the INTI accomodation grounds. As far as I know, this hostel is located in the INTI area and is guarded, but there is no curfew, so there is no rush to get back to the hostel. If I am not mistaken there are 19 blocks from A-S, with block A being the nearest from university and S being the furthest. Furthermore, every block and each floor they have provided a large common washroom with heaters in a few of them, also provided is an area for washing and hanging clothes to all the students. Not only that, but INTI also provided us a wide study area to let us study and relax.

Library

Next is the library facilities. I really like INTI’s library resources as they are very satisfying because they have all the resources from textbooks, computers, discussion rooms, printed materials  sound and video recordings available to students.

Sidewalk Cafe and Printing Center

this picture is showing the side walk cafe and printing center.

Next is the sidewalk cafeteria. My friends and I always go there for lunch because they have a variety of food stalls for all students and lecturers. For example, they offer different kinds of food like Nasi Lemak, Rendang chicken , Nasi Goreng ,fried chicken and beverages and so on. Besides that, the sidewalk cafe price is always cheaper than outside foods stall because they offer student price to the students.Next, there is a printing center under the sidewalk cafe for general photo printing and printing and their price is quite reasonable.

Environment

Also, INTI Nilai is beautiful, nice, quiet and remote, serene and conducive environment to complete your pre-U studies. Not so many things will be happening here at INTI IU. Honestly, students will generally get along with each other to discuss their assignments and solve task problems together. The lectures are very friendly, they will always help us when facing assignment problems, and the lecturers will take time to explain it to us step by step. Other than that, INTI’s commitment to a green environment is rooted in a tree planting ceremony on campus, which also marks the beginning of a week-long series of environmental protection activities involving its students and faculty.

In a nutshell, I would strongly recommend INTI university as it would bring a lot of benefits to all students. Here at INTI, they are not just about results, students’ well being and happiness comes first. INTI lecturer always make sure that every student in the class is participating and thus, is never left out. It is this inclusiveness that sets INTI apart from their competitors.

  1. Read your blog till the end, your blog could be improved in terms of language if you could write more. The one thing i found bit weird is why you needed to put a map in the blog unless you are talking about travelling from your home to university and the duration taken travelling. Other than that, all is good but try to put in more of your personal experiences and feelings in your blog that could felt by the audiences.

  2. A blog that is written from the bottom of your heart, brother. There are certain grammatical errors here and there, but the most important thing is you have tried your best at blogging. As your friend, I am really so proud of you as I know how far you have come in terms of writing in English. You have improved immensely, brother! Keep improving your English. It is just a language and I believe that by the time you complete your degree at INTI, you would be able to communicate in English better and clearer, through written and spoken language. Best wishes.
